Who is Yolanda Monge-Fabian?
Born and raised in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Yolanda loved to sing and was always gifted musically. At the age of 19, she elected to pursue her education at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Music. Yolanda is currently retired as music teacher who specialized in Vocal/General Music for grades K-12 for 25 years.
She is now a broadcaster for CoEs Media Group located in Miami, Fl. She now resides in New York, USA.
Monge's experience includes numerous television appearances and theatrical performances, with which she has performed alongside many of Puerto Rico's most well-known musicians. Among Monge's many accolades, she has won four national voice competitions. She has also provided vocal services to be used on commercial radio and television programming.
In the Fall of 1997 Monge set out on a different path, when she accepted the call of God in her life. Evangelist Ricardo DiRocco was hosting a spiritual crusade, and it was during this crusade when Monge accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. In that moment, she dedicated her voice to The Lord, and began to prepare for ministry.
For more than 20 years, Monge has been ministering as a Praise and Worship leader, Solo Artist, and Vocal Coach. In 2017 she became the first recipient of the "Spanish Artist of the Year" Award from the Tampa Bay Gospel Awards, that is held annually in the city of Tampa Bay, FL.
